Here's a post on how to CLEAN A FORD ELECTRONIC THROTTLE BODY. Here's the throttle body relearn procedure. Clear the PCM adaptive memory. 1) Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

The average intake temperature sensor replacement cost is between $40 and $250, depending on the car model and labor costs. An intake temperature sensor costs $20 to $150, and the labor costs $20 to $100. If your intake temperature sensor is integrated into the MAF sensor, the part cost can increase rapidly.

Typical MAF Sensor Location. The mass airflow, or MAF, sensor checks the air volume and temperature as it enters the engine. It's one of the most important sensor that your Focus has. Just like the air filter that protects it, it can get dirty. When it gets dirty it can't read the air entering the engine properly and your engine will sputter.

From what I see at idle my MAF voltage is about 1.61v with a flow of about 3.8g/s. On boost the voltage goes over 5v - very close to 6v and the flow at max if I hit it right is about 228g/s.I assumed the MAF sensor had a max of 5v. I am running full stage 2 with Modx. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
The P2281 diagnostic trouble code is an indication of the existence of an air leak between the MAF sensor and the Throttle Body. The MAF sensor uses an electrical wire to make a determination as to the amount of air that is being permitted to enter the air intake system. This information is sent through this wire and delivered to the powertrain
